Come join my challenge at the Flying Unicorn!!

It's Christmas time and I'm all about Christmas now so I have a great Christmas challenge for you this month at the Flying Unicorn.   It's really a simple challenge, not going to impose too may gotta haves and all that!  I want you to create a Christmas themed layout (yep gotta be a LO this month) using traditional red and green Christmas colors.  Oh but wait, there's one little hitch, you CAN NOT use Christmas papers, can be anything but Christmas papers.  Now won't that be tons of fun??!!!  Why don't you give this a try and post your creation here at the Flying Unicorn!

So just a couple requirements to keep things interesting:

1. Gotta have at least 2 patterned papers
2.  Must use Christmas red and green as predominant colors, you can also use any other colors you want.
3.  I think we need to see some flowers and ribbon, just 'cause I like them
4. And how about a shape other than a circle, square or rectangle.  So you could use a diecut, an oval, hexagon, lots of ways you can go here, a shaped tag........
5.  That's not too many gotta haves, I think, this will be fun!!

And of course the usual Flying Unicorn rules:
  1. Must be new as of today and a maximum of 3 entries per person .
  2. .Must be posted in this thread by 7:30 pm on or before December 30, 2012  (note the date, early because we will all be involved in New Year's Maggi hour on the 31st!)
  3. Can not be used for any other challenge on Flying Unicorn.
  4. Check back often to give love, receive love, just for love!
  5. Winner will be chosen via random.org on the 30th of December around 8:00pm . You can win only one challenge per month - (we share the love here) and you have 7 days to email Alda and claim your prize by telling me the challenge you won and your full address
  6. You must have lots of creative fun!
So you know I am in love with the G45 Birdsong collection and this little brainstorm of mine is a result of wanting to use that collection.  I am making myself a calendar and this is the December page.  (It may be a 2014 calendar cause this is the only page I have done so far, LOL!)  The vine is Petaloo Cantebury from the store and I added the poinsettias, they are a Prima promotional item I won a couple yrs ago.

Chipboard button in the G45 Song Bird collection.  By the way, if you want to use this collection to make you Christmas project, it is available in the store!!

More aged embossing powder on the DA chippy below!

Ok girlies, get out that red and green paper and let me see what you can do with this!!

As always we have a fabulous RAK up for grabs by one lucky person.  Looks like some great Scrapcake papers!!  All you have to do for a chance to win is make a LO for my challenge!
